2/4 Three creative days

6 Feb 2010 Pawel Mrozowicz
First day, 2nd of Feb, we split 55 people into 3 different groups guided by the three of us.

It went smoothly, especially as we did mostly our classical Free Walking Tour route vol 1. I even managed to quickly book a restaurant for 58 people for dinner after the tour.

We checked before who our customers are, I have visited the organizer's website and read his blog. Furthermore, we found out what could be particularly interesting for them, like Krakow's poster gallery poster gallery , and Famoust Polish sketch artist -Andrzej Mleczko gallery.

And as I took feedback questionnaires, I started thinking about going back home and eating a dinner. Gabriel - visit organizer asked me: "What about visiting the Salt Mine?"

So then everything actually started. I made a few phone calls and we booked a tour to the the salt mine for the next day.

Concerning Auschwitz, the problem was that the museum was already closed. So we had to wait until the morning to arrange the tour. There was also one more problem... it was written on the Auschwitz museum website, that organized groups have to booked a visit at least two weeks in advance...

I came back to my flat starting to organize transportation, not so easy at all, as regular coach is for about 50 passengers, and we needed coach for 57 people.

But on the one hand Poland is a Western country of many possibilities, on the other hand is an Eastern country when most of deals you can "negotiate" or even bargain.

To bo continued...
