Reviews about Communism tour
Back into the world of the fifties, when a new ,real communist town was planned and built for 200.000 people!
What is left? Come on the tour...
I would recommend the tour. Pawel went the extra mile, taking us to the Communist bar, which was great. He made us feel very welcoming, and was well informed. Great value.

Not the most interesting Communist Walk I’ve ever done, but certainly worth doing, and with a dedicated and well informed tour guide, in Pawel. Also, good practical parts of the tour, which distinguish it from tours in other cities.
I enjoyed listening to the history about Nowa Huta, the pictures which were shown from the past and how they contrasted from the present site. It really shows how times have changed. Pawel, our tour guide certainly knows his stuff!!! Great job!
An informative and historically intriguing tour of a totally different side of Krakow - certainly not to be missed!
The “local” aspect of the tour eg Using tram to and from NOWA HUTA
Visiting the popes church and Lenin Square
Found photographs of workers from farming background used to build NOWA HUTA very interesting.
I thought having the tour in the evening when dusk descended added to the overall atmosphere of the tour.
A very interesting tour using the tram rather than a tour bus to get there. Atmosphere was heightened by going at night time. Photographs of people who came from farms to work in steelmills and surrounding construction work were very good as it gave an insight into the people who built and lived in NOWA HUTA
Reviews are from the feedback questianaire which was send to the communism tour participant after the tour.

on: 23 Aug 17:01:18It was a great tour. Unfortunately I had to leave about an hour earlier, but the experience was great. I just wanted to say that the first guideline should be talking in a historical view.. I think it would be easier to talk a little about the beggining of comunism. We talked about the idealogy, but I was expecting more. Apart from that, I recomend everyone who visits Krakow to do this tour, in order to understand better this great city!
