A young professional with a background in tourism management and a strong interest in non-profit organizations working in the field of sustainable tourism development in mountain and rural areas, nature conservation and environmental education. For the past few years, she was organizing and coordinating international events, dealing with communications and promotions, project writing, implementation and reporting. The fact that she lived abroad and worked for organizations with various background made her very open minded and internationally oriented as well as able to cooperate easily with people from around the world.
She loves exploring the world, getting to know cultures, ideas, thoughts, meeting new people and believes that everyone is inspiring and has an amazing story to share. Her philosophy is "Don't tell me how educated you are, tell me how much you've travelled,” (Mohammed). That's why she already has visited 32 countries and planning to visit more.
Since she took part in a training session for mountain guide wannabes, she has been in love with the Carpathian Mountains and is totally addicted to hiking, camping, rafting and spending time in remote areas close to nature. Low-budget travelling (backpacking, hitchhiking, camping, couchsurfing) is definitely her thing and she is always searching for new places to discover.
Some crazy stuff she has done when travelling: allowed a snake to wrap around her neck; shared a plate with a wild horse; said “hi” to wild wolves and a bison; participated in a rafting trip on mountain river; ate sheep cheese and drank strong alcohol with Ukrainian border guards in the middle of nowhere; climbed some of the highest peaks of the European mountain ranges; slept under the stars, in a tent, in a barn, in the middle of the forest, in train stations or in the bed of a pickup truck countless times.
If not guiding you will definitely meet her somewhere in the mountains with a walking stick in one hand and a camera in the other.
