About the tour

Auschwitz Tour reveals one of the most (in)famous periods of humankind history. A place where over one million people perished, murdered in an industrial, planned way, according to the mad plan of Hitler and Nazi Germany’s leadership. Prisoners, among them Jews, Poles, Roma and Sinti and Soviet prisoners of war among others, lived in horrible conditions with 700 kcal worth of nourishment per day, forced to work beyond their strength. You will witness real places and barracks where they lived in. After the camp was liberated on January 28th, 1945, only a few hundred starving people were found in it. The Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial Museum was created in 1947 and has since dedicated its efforts to showing and educating about the horrors of the past. On this tour you will not only learn the background story of the Nazi terror and the Holocaust but also experience the authentic environment connected to those tragic events.

Auschwitz has been put on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979.
