During the tour we will visit the Primate’s Palace, where Napoleon was confirmed as the ruler of Europe, see the statue of St. George, one of the patrons of the city, and get to know his life story. From there on we will be moving towards the eastern gate of the city towards 19th and 20th century landmarks, such as the amazing secession style school and the breathtaking Blue Church where you will be able to peek in and enjoy the marvellous colours and decorations. If the weather permits, we have one of the best spots to enjoy the skyline of Bratislava from the Old-Bridge, a place where nations and rulers once clashed and where tanks first arrived in Bratislava during the Prague Spring in 1968. Before coming back to the Medieval city centre, we will visit the National Museum and National Gallery, walk the river promenade and get to the Philharmonic orchestra, the location of the first anti-communist protest in all of Czechoslovakia in 1988.
