Hello, I am Anna, originally from Zaporizhzhia in eastern Ukraine, and I have been guiding with Walkative! since 2023. My journey to the French capital actually began with cinema; watching the film Amélie inspired me to learn the language, and a few years later, I found myself living here. I became a guide because I genuinely enjoy meeting people from different backgrounds and learning their stories. Walking you through the city allows me to share my enthusiasm for Paris while helping you find your own connection with it.

On my tours, I like to mix centuries of royal history and intrigue with anecdotes about the quirks of modern Parisian life. I am fascinated by how the city’s complex past blends with its everyday reality, and I always encourage visitors to step away from the usual routes and embrace getting lost. Outside of guiding, I am finishing my Master’s degree at Sorbonne University while working as a film producer for projects here in Paris and online for Kyiv. Given my background, you can always ask me for a long list of recommendations for films and television shows set in the city, from Emily in Paris to Les Amants du Pont-Neuf.
