I was born in southern Germany and spent almost three decades working in software engineering on international projects. My journey into guiding wasn't planned; it started naturally from my love of the English Garden, where I would share hidden corners and stories with visitors I met. I find it rewarding to help people connect with the city by combining historical background with local knowledge and personal experience. My work with Walkative began in 2025, after a team member happened to join one of my informal walks and invited me to guide professionally.

Having called Munich home for over 25 years, I've developed a deep appreciation for its atmosphere, particularly the English Garden and the Isar river area. On my tours, I enjoy sharing stories that help you see the city beyond the typical guidebook perspective, drawing on its history and my own observations from living here. Outside of guiding, I remain an avid traveler with a particular interest in East Asian cultures, and I bring people together by organizing Japanese, Korean, and Chinese language and culture meetups. I also spend my free time reading about history and society, which always gives me new ideas to share.
