My name is Daniel, and I was born and raised right here in Madrid before spending some time living elsewhere in Europe. I’ve worked as a guide for six years now, including in cities like Berlin and Granada, and have been guiding with Walkative since 2022. While I came to this profession by chance, I quickly discovered how much I enjoy connecting with people and explaining the history that shapes our world. It’s incredibly rewarding to meet travellers, exchange stories, and help them understand my city on a deeper level.

On my tours, I cover everything from Madrid's royal history to its origins, but the period I find most compelling to explain is the turbulent mid-to-late 20th century. I believe that understanding the Franco era is key to making sense of Spain today, and I’m always ready to answer questions to help make these complex events clear. When I'm not guiding, I like to travel and take tours myself to keep learning. To relax, I enjoy working with wood or spending quiet time in nature.
