I was born in Australia and grew up in Ireland, where I studied history before moving to London to work in theatre. A desire to experience more of Europe led me first to Berlin and then to Barcelona, where I found my calling as a guide. I started working with Walkative! in 2022, and it’s been a fantastic journey that has even allowed me to help open new company branches in Madrid, Lisbon, and Athens. I enjoy helping travellers orient themselves in a new city and find the details that bring its stories to life.

What fascinates me most about Barcelona are the layers of its history, especially the weirder parts you can uncover on tours like the Alternative walk. The city's combination of fantastic food, great weather, and access to the outdoors is what made me settle here. When I’m not guiding, my time is usually spent travelling to eat, reading city histories and novels, or going for a swim wherever I can find water. As a former cinema manager, I also have a deep love for film, from major blockbusters to the wonderfully awful.
