I'm Francesca, a guide originally from Turin, Italy, though I've called Paris my home for over a decade. My background is in theatre and stage directing, and I became a guide four years ago as a way to combine my interests in history, storytelling, and connecting with people. I find that every tour is an opportunity to meet travellers from all over the world, and I truly value the different perspectives they bring. Since joining the Walkative team in 2024, I’ve enjoyed showing visitors how a well-told story can make the past feel immediate and relevant.

For me, a city is like a vast film set, full of stories hidden just behind the monuments and facades. I enjoy balancing the main historical narrative with the sort of anecdotes that help a place and its people come alive, and walking tours are a great way to uncover these layers. When I'm not guiding, I work as an actress and theatre director and have a broad interest in the arts, from cinema to music. I also enjoy languages and speak Italian, English, French, and Spanish.
