I originally come from Chile, where I worked in marketing, but a visit to my brother in Krakow eight years ago changed my path after we landed regular music gigs in Kazimierz. Playing music around town helped me befriend people running a tour agency, which led me to this career, and I have now been guiding with Walkative! since 2024. I have always been drawn to understanding the reasons behind historical events, so researching the city quickly became something I genuinely enjoy. My favorite part of guiding is sharing these historical details with curious visitors who want to look a little deeper into the past.
What fascinates me most about Krakow is how well it can be discovered on foot, revealing history from different eras and a steady supply of interesting details. Even after living here for years, I am still finding new things to talk about, whether it is the city's complex past or local food like bigos, which I always recommend trying. Outside of guiding, music remains a major part of my life, especially jazz. I hosted a jazz podcast with a friend for three years, and I always look forward to Krakow's summer jazz festival. When I am not working, I spend my time cycling to places like Tyniec or Ojców National Park.
