My name is Paweł, and as a history and journalism graduate, I’ve always been drawn to uncovering and sharing a city's stories. I began guiding with Walkative back in 2016, and I see my role as a way to connect my academic background with a genuine interest in helping travellers. For me, guiding is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to provide clarity and context for what you're seeing. I find real satisfaction in digging into the facts and presenting them in a way that helps visitors understand the city on a deeper level.

While Krakow has countless fascinating chapters, I'm especially drawn to the history of the Nowa Huta district. It's a powerful story about how its first inhabitants arrived in a planned, imperfect city and slowly transformed it into a genuine community for themselves. When I’m not leading tours, my time is mostly spent with my family. We often go on long bicycle trips together, and have also enjoyed more ambitious cycling journeys. In the past, I was an avid homebrewer and even had the fun of creating a few special edition beers for my fellow Walkative guides.
