My name is Piotr, and I was born in Kraków, where I attended the oldest high school in the country, founded in 1588 - so, I'm 100% Krakus! My path into this profession began practically; while working on a construction site at eighteen, I discovered that showing people around the city was a reliable way to make a living. I passed my exam right after graduation at nineteen, becoming the youngest licensed guide in the history of Kraków. I have been leading tours with Walkative! since 2015, and I appreciate that this work allows me to continuously engage with the streets and history of my hometown.

When exploring the city, my favorite spots include the Krakus Mound and the Krowodrza district, an area full of modernist architecture that I used to dislike but eventually grew to appreciate. As a local, I reserve the right to complain about Kraków and often feel the urge to leave, yet I always love coming back to its comfortable infrastructure and decent public transit. Outside of guiding, my background is in law. I graduated from Jagiellonian University, where I wrote my master's thesis on the legal registration of the Polish Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster before the administrative courts.
