About anna
I'm Ania—though some people call me Angie—and I have been a city guide in Wrocław since 2017. With a background in cultural studies and Italian philology, I lived in Sicily and began leading tour groups in Italy before focusing on local tours in Poland. I guide mainly in Polish and Italian, and I find great satisfaction in connecting with Italian travelers because I understand their culture and way of life. For me, guiding is never just a dry history lesson; it is a chance to have genuine conversations, share discoveries, and help people feel comfortable in a new place.
During our walks around Wrocław, I focus on pointing out easily overlooked details and sharing stories that you won't find in standard guidebooks, often taking you to places you might not discover on your own. I like seeing visitors change the way they look at the city and hopefully leave with a real desire to return one day. Outside of work, I am a mother to twin girls, Gabrysia and Helenka, and I spend my free time cycling, travelling, reading, or working in my new garden. You will also often find me putting together jigsaw puzzles with my daughters or enjoying a good meal, which probably explains why I feel so at home in Italy.
