Hi, I'm Campbell, originally from Melbourne, Australia, where I studied politics and history at Monash University. I first visited Berlin as a tourist in 2014 and was struck by how much history is concentrated in this one city. That visit prompted me to return to study German memorialisation, which naturally led me to start leading tours so I could discuss these historical events with others. I have been guiding with Walkative! since 2024, and I really value the opportunity to explore this history with visitors.

Today, I am pursuing a Masters of Global Studies with a focus on social movements, which closely ties into what fascinates me most about Berlin. On my tours, I mainly focus on the twentieth century, specifically discussing Weimar history, the Nazi period, and the Cold War. Outside of traditional walking tours, I am a marathon runner and also give running tours of the city. My other main interest is improv theatre, which I view not just as a hobby but as a philosophy of remaining open and responsive to the world—an approach I bring directly to my guiding.
