Hello, my name is Damian. With a background in history and cultural studies, I was drawn to Krakow long before I moved here from the Wielkopolska region in 2010. I made countless visits to explore its monuments, and eventually decided to stay and complete a city guide course to share its stories professionally. I've been leading tours with Walkative since 2015, and I genuinely enjoy seeing visitors connect with the city in the same way I did.

I enjoy delving into Krakow's complex history, whether we're exploring the medieval Old Town or the 20th-century story of Nowa Huta. My interest in the city's heritage extends to my involvement with local organizations dedicated to its preservation. Beyond the iconic landmarks and museums, I encourage visitors to discover Krakow's natural side in areas like Podgórze or near one of the city's ancient mounds.
