My name is Tufi, and I’ve been working as a guide in Gdańsk since 2019. My path here started with studying history, where I became interested not just in big events, but in the daily lives of ordinary people in port cities like this one. I soon realized that sharing stories was more engaging than purely academic work, and I’ve really enjoyed guiding groups with Walkative since joining in 2023. For me, the most important aspect of this job is the human connection and turning each tour into a conversation rather than a lecture.

I’m fascinated by Gdańsk because its history is not simple; it is a city shaped by many different cultures and traditions over the centuries. On my tours, I enjoy discussing these less obvious layers and showing the city from a more local, everyday perspective. When I'm not guiding, I write articles about history and travel, and I also explore the city through my hobby of urban photography. It allows me to slow down and see details I might otherwise miss, which is a perspective I try to bring to my work as a guide.
