I am Filipa, originally from Sofia, Bulgaria. After spending my early twenties in Paris, where I first discovered how much I enjoy sharing a city's history with others, I relocated to Barcelona in 2015. The decision to come to Spain was deeply personal for me, as my great-grandfather served in the International Brigades during the Spanish Civil War. I have always valued preserving historical memory, and guiding allows me to bring those past events into the present. Continuing this work, I have been leading tours with Walkative! since 2025.

While living in Barcelona, I earned a degree in political science and spent two years working on political campaigns before returning to my role as a guide. This background shapes the walks I lead today, as I focus heavily on how historical events connect to the twentieth century and impact our current society. Outside of guiding, I spend my time exploring the diverse environments of the city, whether visiting local museums, participating in community activities, or spending time by the beach and mountains. Over the years, I have built a strong local community here, and I genuinely enjoy introducing guests to the place I now call home.
