Since childhood, my life has been closely tied to art. I originally dreamed of becoming an artist and applied to the Academy of Fine Arts, but I ultimately studied art history, which completely fascinated me. After graduation, while showing groups around the National Museum, I realized I wanted to continue working in this field, which led me to take a city guiding course. I have been guiding with Walkative! since 2016, and alongside this, I give lectures teaching people how to engage with art. What I love most about guiding is sharing my deep interest in the subject and helping others see the world through a more observant lens.
What fascinates me about Krakow is that despite being a relatively small city, there is constantly something happening, from daily concerts to gallery openings. On my tours, I focus on explaining the artistic, social, and historical processes that have shaped the city, as I believe understanding these elements allows you to truly appreciate your surroundings. When I am not guiding or traveling in search of inspiration, I read artist biographies and fiction by authors like Patrick Modiano and Krzysztof Varga. I also spend my free time watching films by Paul Thomas Anderson or Sofia Coppola, and whenever possible, I attend live concerts, particularly to see the Dave Matthews Band.
