My name is Magda, and I was born in Warsaw, the city where I now lead tours. While I’ve spent most of my life here, I also had the chance to live abroad, studying for five years at Madrid’s Complutense University. My guiding career actually began there, leading Polish travellers through Spain and Portugal. Eventually, I returned home to do the reverse: showing Spanish and English-speaking visitors around my own city, something I've enjoyed doing with Walkative since 2016.

My connection to Warsaw is academic as well as personal—I completed formal 'Warsaw studies' and am particularly fascinated by subjects off the main tourist trail. I love talking about the history of the city's gastronomy, especially how it evolved during the 1990s after the major political transformation. This focus on the less-obvious aspects of Warsaw is why I enjoy the Praga district tour so much; it provides a clearer understanding of the local character than a walk through more conventionally beautiful areas. When I'm not working, I enjoy dancing, reading journalistic reportage, and watching documentary films.
