My name is Michał, and I was born and raised in Krakow, a city that has always been my home. After studying tourism, I realized I wanted to share my hometown with others, which led me to combine my interests in history, travel, and meeting new people into a career as a city guide. I have been walking the streets of Krakow with Walkative! since 2017, and I still find something new in its centuries-old streets every day. For me, guiding is about looking at the city from the perspective of both a lifelong resident and a visitor, helping others uncover its true character.

On my tours, I most enjoy exploring the Krakow Old Town, especially the hidden alleys and lesser-known historical details that you rarely find in standard guidebooks. Beyond the historical center, I always suggest visitors take a walk in Las Wolski, a large forest near the city that offers a quiet break from the urban noise. When I am not showing people around Krakow, I am usually in the mountains. I work as a Beskid mountain guide and serve as a volunteer mountain rescuer for GOPR in the Jura region. Whether I am playing basketball, mountain biking, or reading about history, staying active outdoors is a central part of my life.
