My guiding journey began during my first year of university with a mountain guiding course, and I later left my corporate job to focus entirely on showing visitors around Krakow. I studied Tourism Management here in the city and spent an exchange year near Dresden, which is why I now guide primarily in German, though I also lead tours in English and Polish. I joined Walkative! in 2025, and I truly cannot imagine doing any other job. What I value most about this work is interacting with different people and finding clear, engaging ways to share information.
During my tours through the Old Town, Kazimierz, and Podgórze, I particularly enjoy talking about Gothic architecture, stained glass, and the profound societal impacts of World War II. I often guide inside museums like Schindler's Factory or the Rynek Underground, and I always suggest that visitors walk up the Krakus Mound for a panoramic view of the city. Whenever I am away from Krakow, I am usually in the mountains, either resting or working as a mountain guide in ranges like the Carpathians or the Pyrenees. At home, I spend my free time reading, climbing, and cycling—my longest ride was 800 kilometers from France to Santiago de Compostela—though winter brings a shift to cross-country skiing, cinema, and theater.
