Piotr
My name is Piotr, and I've lived in Warsaw for half my life. My path to becoming a tour guide began while I was studying Social and Cultural Anthropology at Warsaw University, and I've been guiding with Walkative since 2017. What I enjoy most about this work is discovering which aspects of our country surprise visitors the most. It's always interesting to see our culture through their eyes, noticing things that seem obvious to me but are entirely new or unexpected for them.
As a piano teacher and composer, I feel a particular connection to Warsaw’s musical history, as it's the city where Frederic Chopin lived and created for many years. It always makes me happy to hear how much visitors enjoy our city, and I take pride in sharing what makes it a clean, safe, and culturally vibrant place to live. In my free time, I love riding my bike, going on long walks with my dog Hugo, or simply relaxing by the lake near my home after a day of guiding.
