Hello, I'm Thomas. Originally from the French Alps, I now live in my favourite part of Paris, Montmartre. I haven't always been a guide; I actually worked as a research engineer for four years before deciding I needed a big change and moving to the city. Here I discovered the job of a historic tour guide, and I’ve been happily guiding with Walkative since 2024. I find it's a fantastic way to meet people from all over the world, as every day brings a new question and a new opportunity to learn.

What I enjoy most about this work is revealing the stories hidden in the city's streets, which can be fascinating, creepy, or just very funny. As a licensed guide, I can also lead tours in museums, and my great ambition is to guide in my favourite, the Musée d'Orsay. Outside of guiding, I love hiking, photography, and cooking. My interest in history also leads me to travel and learn about geopolitics and countries I don’t know much about yet.
