My name is Tomasz, though most people call me Big Tom—at 6'7" (2 meters) tall, the nickname tends to stick. I was born and raised in Kraków, from growing up in the Nowa Huta district to earning my history degree from Jagiellonian University with a thesis on this very city. After running my first tour in 2015, I found my professional calling and have been guiding with Walkative since 2016. I consider it a privilege to do what I love, meeting people from all over the world and learning something new every day.

What drives me is a deep curiosity about where we come from, and I believe genuine understanding comes from facts, not myths. I enjoy researching the individual stories of the people who lived here before us, as it helps me understand my own city better. Guiding is my second favourite thing in life, right after my family—my wife and our two children. When I'm not leading a tour, I enjoy good coffee, British comedy, and the great outdoors of places like the Białowieża Forest.
