Following my history studies, I did what many people my age were doing and moved to Berlin. I only planned to stay for a year or so, but I was quickly captivated by the city's free-spirited atmosphere and ended up making it my home. When Walkative opened its Berlin branch in 2020, I joined the team, finding that guiding was the perfect way to apply my academic background. I enjoy making the city's complex history accessible and clear for travellers.
My studies focused on the History of Ideas, especially fascist ideology and socialist thought, which makes Berlin an endlessly fascinating subject. I am also a licensed guide for the Sachsenhausen Memorial and enjoy delving into the details of life in the DDR, a topic we explore on the Marx to the Wall tour. When I'm not guiding, I'm usually exploring Berlin's dining scene and have even been a food correspondent for a local podcast, so I’ll always have a restaurant recommendation for you.
