I originally come from a town near Edinburgh in Scotland, and after studying music in London, I relocated to Berlin to immerse myself in its culture. I have been showing visitors around this city as a guide with Walkative! since 2021. Connecting with people over subjects I deeply care about is why I became a guide, and I find myself learning something new about this place every single day. My goal on any tour is to share Berlin's rich, sometimes difficult history while helping you feel equipped to go out and discover your own version of the city.

I was initially drawn here by music genres like Neue Deutsche Welle and Krautrock, along with the Dada art movement spearheaded by figures like Hannah Höch and George Grosz. I enjoy discussing how these past political and cultural shifts were expressed through art, as you can still feel their influence shaping modern Berlin and its DIY aesthetic today. Away from guiding, I spend my time playing in a post-punk new wave band and working in our local studio. I am always collaborating with other creatives, checking out new galleries, and exploring the independent music venues that make this city so compelling.
