My name is Krzysztof, and I was born and raised right here in Krakow, specifically in the district of Nowa Huta. My academic journey was a bit unconventional, taking me from Automation and Robotics to Art History, which gives me a varied lens through which to view my city. I’ve been guiding with Walkative since 2015, and what I enjoy most is connecting with travellers who are genuinely curious to look beyond the surface and understand the city's complex stories.

While every part of Krakow has its stories, my favourite area to guide in is my home district of Nowa Huta. Its location off the main tourist trail means the groups I meet there are especially dedicated to discovering its unique history. The calmer atmosphere allows for a more focused exploration, free from the crowds of the city centre. When I'm not guiding, my time is mostly dedicated to raising my three children. In my free moments, I prefer physical books—usually history or reportage—and my music taste leans heavily towards metal.
