Hello, my name is Naima. I am a German-American originally born and raised in Woodstock, New York. After finishing my bachelor's degree in history in New York City in 2020, I moved to Berlin to pursue a master's degree in North American history and cultural studies. I have been sharing my background as a guide with Walkative! since 2023. Guiding allows me to bring guests along the timeline of the city, tracing its development from the Middle Ages all the way to its meaning in the contemporary zeitgeist.

On my tours, particularly the Welcome to Berlin route, I thoroughly enjoy pointing out the beautiful buildings along Unter den Linden and discussing how the capital has evolved. Beyond the architecture, I find that the most beautiful aspect of Berlin is its strong sense of community. When I am not guiding, I am a recording artist focusing on vocals and songwriting for dance music, frequently performing and participating in local nightlife. I am also currently building a business at the intersection of music, health, and spirituality. In my free time, I maintain a consistent workout routine and read about philosophy, Buddhism, and Taoism.
