I am Roisin, originally from Ireland, but I have called London home for many years now. I moved to the city because of my background in acting, and I enjoy bringing that dramatic flair to the streets as a guide. Rather than just reciting dates from a history book, my goal is to bring the past to life for visitors. I have been guiding with Walkative! since 2024, combining my performance experience with my interest in history. My favourite route is the Welcome to London tour, where we connect the major sites through the events that shaped them, and occasionally spot the pelicans in St James Park.

What fascinates me most about London is how the atmosphere changes across different neighbourhoods, especially in the East End and the local food markets. When I am not leading tours, you can usually find me walking through the city's green spaces or exploring the Victoria and Albert Museum when the fog rolls in. At home, I am currently writing a historical musical, though when writer's block strikes, I turn to sewing or staging one-woman shows in my flat. Once the sun goes down, I am generally trying to score a good deal on a theatre ticket, or recommending that guests try standing at the Globe Theatre.
