About the tour

Some cities are shaped by empire. Others by stone, faith, or silence. In one day, discover three places that tell very different chapters of Spain’s story.
Leaving Madrid behind, travel through the landscapes of Castile to Segovia, Ávila, and Toledo—three historic cities where Roman engineering, medieval walls, royal power, and centuries of cultural exchange still shape everyday life.
Begin in Segovia, where the city rises beneath one of the most remarkable monuments of ancient Spain: the Roman Aqueduct. Walk through the old town, past elegant squares and historic streets, toward the Cathedral and the striking Alcázar, once a royal fortress overlooking the Castilian plains.
Continue to Ávila, a city of stone and stillness, best known for its remarkably preserved medieval walls. Inside this fortified historic center, uncover stories of faith, resilience, and everyday life while walking through streets that have changed little over the centuries.
The journey then leads to Toledo, often called the City of Three Cultures, where Christian, Jewish, and Muslim influences shaped one of Spain’s most fascinating historic centers. Walk through narrow streets, hidden corners, and layered neighborhoods where architecture, religion, and trade once met within the same walls. From grand monuments to quiet alleys, Toledo reveals centuries of coexistence and conflict in one extraordinary city.
Along the way, enjoy changing landscapes, panoramic viewpoints, and free time to explore at your own pace. If selected, optional upgrades may include lunch in a local restaurant or entry to Toledo’s impressive cathedral.
This full-day journey offers a wider look at Spain beyond Madrid—through fortresses, ancient streets, and cities where history still feels close enough to touch.
Join us and discover three remarkable cities, each with its own rhythm, character, and story.
