This Halloween, our classic Westminster tour takes a turn for the darker side.
Join us for a special edition of our Welcome to London tour, exploring the famous sights of Westminster alongside some of the more gruesome, ghoulish and downright strange stories hiding behind them.
We’ll uncover plots and executions, severed heads and restless spirits, from Guy Fawkes and the Gunpowder Plot to the grisly fates of Oliver Cromwell and Charles I. Hear tales of ghosts and mysterious goings-on around St James’s Palace, before heading into the West End in search of the spirits said to haunt London’s historic theatres.
Don’t worry: there are no jump scares or theatrical horror here, so those of a nervous disposition can leave their smelling salts at home. Dressing up for the occasion, however, is very much encouraged — so feel free to join us in your Halloween finest!
This is still our classic Westminster walking tour — just with a Halloween twist, bringing the darker corners of London’s history into the light.
We’ll finish at one of Covent Garden’s historic pubs, where you can settle your nerves with a drink — and perhaps create a few memories that will haunt you forevermore.
