Toruń is the brithplace of the man, who changed the face and paradigm of science, letting it enter the new era – of proof and reasoning. Nicolaus Copernicus is not the only scientific connection of the pretty, medieval town of Toruń. It is here where the discoverer of the first planets outside of our Solar System, Aleksander Wolszczan, got his degree. We will also see the famed Toruń planetarium and multiple scientific institutions, including the Toruń university.
