Two and a half hours well spent with Sheva learning about Mostar. The tour covers Mostar’s main points of interest and discusses the influences of the three distinct periods: ottoman, austro-hungarian and yugoslavian. Throughout the tour the recent war is always present and Sheva, our guide, was always available to enlighten us about the conflict and to talk candidly about hard subjects. Overall, I recommend taking this tour with Sheva.

I didn’t know what I expected going into this tour, but I am sure coming out of it that this was easily the best tour I have gone on in my 44 years on this planet. A beautifully curated tour permeated with wit, fact and emotion in equal measure, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this tour to anybody who wishes to enrich themselves in the story of this culturally enmeshed, objectively stunning country that is very much in the ascent.
