Wonderful Tour

We toured on January 5th in the morning. Unfortunately we got there a bit late and missed the name of our guide. He was kind enough to bring us up to speed on what we missed. But since we were late, I did not get his name. He had an English accent and told wonderful stories about the artists and the neighborhood He was a great sport, because it was quite cold that morning. We loved seeing the photos that he shared with us and tell us all about the art scene, years ago. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Terrific way to start our vacation

We flew into Paris on the day of the tour and decided to get familiar with the city. Ruben was our tour guide and he kept us very entertained while showing us key spots. He also recommended a great spot to have dinner. I would absolutely recommend this tour

A must-do tour in Hamburg if you want to experience the city from a more alternative and cultural perspective! The tour takes you through areas like St. Pauli and the Reeperbahn district, including the historic Hamburg tunnel. One highlight is taking the ferry, which offers a beautiful view of the city, the river Elbe, and the Elbphilharmonie from a different angle. The guide shares interesting and often funny facts, touching on Hamburg’s cultural scene and music history, including references to the Beatles, which adds a lot to the experience. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to explore Hamburg beyond the traditional sights. If possible, it’s best to do the Old Town tour first and then this one, as the two complement each other really well. But even on its own, this tour is absolutely worth it! 🤗

A great tour to do in Hamburg, especially if you want to really get to know the city! The guide is very knowledgeable and explains Hamburg’s history in a clear and engaging way, sharing interesting details and showing hidden spots in the Old Town that you wouldn’t find on your own. The tour connects Hamburg’s past with the present and feels dynamic and interactive. I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to explore the city beyond the usual tourist attractions. I also recommend doing this tour first and then the Reeperbahn tour, as they complement each other very well and this one helps you better understand many things you’ll see later 🤗

It's exceptional

Ivo was amazing! The tours is really good and you don't even notice how the time flies. He answered all of our questions, was really funny and we learned a lot. Really would recommend it. It is not a long walk so it's okay even for those who are afraid of the long walk.

Great Tour

My husband and I joined the walking history tour of Berlin on 05/01/2026 with Anika. She was brilliant. The tour was very informative and really showed the highlights of the city and it's history. It was especially great to get a native Berliner's experience growing up in this beautiful city. I highly recommend the tour.

The tour so nice I took it twice!

8 years ago I had the pleasure of doing JRs walking alternative Berlin tour and I have not stopped singing it's praises. When I got the chance to come back I knew I had to take my family on the tour aswell. I loved everything new and old about the tour and I really can't recommend it high enough.
