Field of Peace. Rural Photography at "After Silence" Public History Space
A place once called Friedensfeld - “Peaceful Field” in German - can no longer be found on modern maps. Today, it is the village of Tersianka in the Zaporizhzhia region. Located just 30 kilometers from the front line, it faces constant Russian attacks and, for the second time in its history, is experiencing depopulation. In autumn 2025, the team of “Huliaipole Antiquities” discovered photographic films from the 1950s–1960s in Tersianka. Their author was amateur photographer Oleksandr Panov. These images became the foundation of this exhibition. The photographs not only document the rural landscape and everyday life of its inhabitants, but also form a collective portrait of the region more than half a century ago. Are they enough to preserve the memory of what is now at risk of being lost? |

Jazz Ivasyuk Under Franko’s Pear Tree
The concert will take place at 3:00 PM and 6:00 PM in the cozy courtyard of the Ivan Franko Literary-Memorial Museum. This evening will give new life to beloved songs through jazz rhythms, improvisation, and genuine emotion. The atmosphere of the summer garden and the intimate courtyard of Franko’s home will make the music feel especially close, natural, and heartfelt. At the heart of the program are songs by Volodymyr Ivasyuk, one of the most outstanding Ukrainian composers of the 20th century, author of the legendary “Chervona Ruta” and many other songs that became symbols of Ukrainian music. His works combine beautiful melodies, emotional depth, and a strong national spirit, remaining timeless and relevant to this day. Ivasyuk’s music is a bridge between tradition and modernity, between popular music and true art. |
