About

Muranów – what once was a Jewish district of Warsaw and a place where the Holocaust happened is now built completely anew. And it may look boring – at least that is what many think…

But if you go deeper and visit the gates, backyards, passages, you may have a completely different image. Somewhat artsy and hipster-like with colourful murals that bring colours to the communist built blocks of flats. And the murals bring you closer to the district’s complex history, to its heritage that is mainly gone.

Come and discover the hidden gems of Warsaw. Walk with us through the streets of a very unique neighbourhood of Muranów. See various examples of street art created by the most famous Polish artists and let them tell you the story of this area. If you would like to understand why this neighbourhood is so special, get to know its most well-known inhabitants and deep dive into past and current problems of the city – join us and let us take you on this journey.
